Adhesions are areas where muscle and fascia don’t glide well—often creating a “stuck,” tight, or sore feeling that limits how you move. With specialized hands-on care and guided movement, these restrictions can often improve.
Adhesions can develop when connective tissue (fascia) and surrounding muscles begin to bind and move less freely. This can restrict normal motion, reduce flexibility, and contribute to ongoing discomfort—especially after injury, surgery, repetitive strain, or long periods of guarded movement.
Common signs include:
Persistent tightness, tenderness, or sore “hot spots”
Restricted movement that affects workouts and daily life
We use a series of specialized test, checking for restrictions in range of motion and quantify the discomfort they create. We look to recreate your pain pattern with palpation, which signals to us which nerves and or tissues have adhesion. Suggestion For Client We ask clients to wear a sports bra and loose-fitting shorts that can easily be pulled up over the glute area for treatment.
We use Active Release Techniques® model of finding the glue between your muscles and removing it. In fact, we’re the only full-body Adhesion Release Methods Licensed clinic in Minneapolis! The provider will identify the areas that require treatment, then the client will go through a series of range of motion movements as the provider removes the adhesion. Shockwave therapy is also utilized to further breakdown adhesion and bring fresh blood flow to the area for continued healing.
We get results in real-time. Immediately. Often after the very first treatment. There is no fluff. We find the cause of your pain and make it go away. We absolutely love to inspire hope where other healthcare practitioners have failed. This is the reason why we attract chronic pain patients, those who have been to multiple healthcare professionals, who left them feeling gas lit and disappointed when Western medicine testing was inconclusive, and without finding the path to successful long-term healing
“I came in feeling stiff and restricted, and after a few sessions I felt lighter, looser, and much more comfortable in my body. Sydney has an incredible ability to find the areas that need the most attention.”
Each appointment is designed to give you focused, one-on-one care with the time needed to understand your concerns, evaluate your progress, and create the right next step for your treatment plan.
30–45 Minutes $85
Your first visit covers a complete intake and health history review along with range of motion testing. This establishes your baseline and gives us a clear picture of where your restrictions are and where care should begin.
1 Hour $100
A full hour spent palpating the areas of the body that concern you. This hands-on evaluation locates adhesions with precision and shows how they are affecting your movement, so your treatment plan is built around what your body actually needs.
30 Minutes $70
Ongoing treatment visits focused on continued progress. We review how your body has responded since your last appointment, address any changes or concerns, and provide additional release work to support healing, mobility, and long-term results.
Prefer to start with one visit? The initial consultation and full assessment can be combined into a single appointment if you would rather complete your history, testing, and hands-on evaluation in one sitting. Just mention it when you schedule.
